A new custom build speed boat to bring visitors to the reef in 15 minutes was launched earlier this year.
Extra Action Water Sports - a company that has been operating for the past 10 years now offers a thrill boat ride on it's new "ocean sprinter". The ocean sprinter makes three trips daily to Low Isles for snorkelling and is a great alternative for people who do not want to spend all day on a reef trip but do want to get wet and take a look beneath the sea.
The thrill boat travels up to 80km/hr so it only takes 15 minutes to get you there, all the more time for swimming, snorkelling and checking out the 300 different types of coral.
The "Extra Action Water Sports Reef Sprinter" took 2 years to design and 6 months to build.
