Hartley's Crocodile Adventures

Check it out for yourself, but personally I love the index page of the website for Hartley's Crocodile Adventures. The animal noises in particular are just great.

Situated on the magnificent coastal drive between the popular destinations of Palm Cove and Port Douglas. Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is the best place to see crocodiles and native wildlife in Tropical North Queensland. Set in the foothills of the MacAlister Range, in a World Heritage listed area, Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is home to a range of habitat types including melaleuca wetlands, riverine rainforest and eucalypt woodland.

Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures provides an innovative approach to viewing and interacting with wildlife, enabling visitors to become immersed in a natural environment with safety. A series of timber boardwalks provide elevated viewing of wildlife as visitors journey through a range of natural habitats.

ACTIVITIES
Hartley's is famous for its exciting and educational wildlife presentations including crocodile shows, wetland wildlife, snake show, cassowary feeding, koala feeding and more. Some activities are presented more than once allowing for half-day visitors. Our experienced keepers encourage questions about the animals and their habitat. Be sure to check out our daily activity program listing times and presentations.

FACILITIES
These unique facilities add another dimension to what is already a wonderful attraction. Hartley's has its own conference and education centre set amongst natural and tranquil surroundings available for half-day and full-day hire. Lilies Restaurant specialises in regional delicacies including crocodile meat and is ideally situated overlooking Hartley's Lagoon.
The fully airconditioned Paperbark gift shop is the place to purchase genuine Australian crocodile leather goods with export permits as well as many other Australiana souvenirs.
