We are interrupting the review of Port Douglas in far North Queensland to proudly announce the pre-launch of our new website www.chevronisland.com.au.

www.chevronisland.com.au is a "boutique" website specialising in great resorts, hotels, apartments and holiday accommodation in the most popular pocket of Australia's famous Gold Coast. That pocket is of course Queensland Postcode 4217 - Chevron Island, Surfers Paradise and Main Beach.

I bought the domain by accident when a heap of geographical domains were sold last year, and I possibly paid more than I should have. However, I also won a couple of other interesting domains (soon to be launced) so I wasn't going to pull out.

The other reason for this intermission is of course the World Cup. England is up against Paraguay in less than an hour, and I for one will be watching.
