The soccer World Cup starts in 3 days - where in Port Douglas would you watch it?
There is presumably the Iron Bar in Macrossan Street. They do cane toad racing so I figure they might show a bit of soccer as well.

If everything else fails and you have access to the internet, try the Official FIFA World Cup Website. They will show 2 minute highlights of every game within minutes of the final whistle. Not much I know, but when you are really desperate ....
